Samuel J. Fletcher, Ph.D.
Sam Fletcher is a native of rural Iowa. He received his Doctorate from Florida State University and is an avid follower of the Seminoles. He had additional extended training in evaluation and treatment at the Reiss-Davis Child Guidance Clinic in Los Angeles and the Alfred Adler Institute of Chicago. Principal interest areas are the assessment and treatment of older adolescents, adults and older adults, including depression, panic disorders, other anxieties, social security evaluations, evaluations for attorneys, and stress reduction.

Constance N. Fletcher, Ph.D.
Connie Fletcher is a native of Evanston, Illinois. She completed her Bachelor's Degree at Northwestern University, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology. Connie has a particular interest and expertise in working with adolescents and adults and enjoys working with couples and issues germane to women. She works with panic and other anxiety disorders, depression, chronic pain, stress management, chronic mental illness, and performs assessments for Disability Determination and other organizations. She is an active public speaker and seminar presenter, serves on the boards of numerous civic organizations, and is active with Sacred Heart Church, where she is a member.

Patty Grigoryev, Ph.D.
Patricia B. Grigoryev, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Seton Hall University. She completed her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the New School for Social Research in Manhattan. She is experienced in working with adults, children and families in both individual and group settings. Dr. Grigoryev serves on the boards of several community organizations. She is also a skilled public speaker and has provided numerous lectures at national and international professional conferences.

David I. Rosenberg, Ph.D.
David Rosenberg received his Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology in 1993 from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a Professor of Psychology at Averett University in Danville, and is also a certified T'ai Chi Fundamentals Instructor. In his clinical practice he works with adult clients eighteen years of age and older, and his treatment approach is generally cognitive-behavioral in nature. His areas of specialization include psychological evaluations and assessment (including pre-surgical mental status evaluations), relationship issues, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, adjustment to chronic pain, and stress management and wellness. He is a trained workshop and seminar leader, and has given presentations to community groups and organizations on various mental health topics including interpersonal communication, building healthy relationships, grief and loss, and stress management. Dr. Rosenberg also teaches T'ai Chi Fundamentals at the Danville Yoga & Meditation Center.

Frank Russell, Ph.D.
Dr. Russell received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He has been licensed to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Virginia since 1994. Dr. Russell's emphasis is to educate and teach individuals, couples and families skills for healthier living including problem solving and stress management techniques, anger control strategies, creative approaches to parenting, and conflict resolution. Dr. Russell has specialized training in the assessment and management of ADHD in children and adults. He has extensive experience in conducting psychological evaluations for the courts, social services, schools and disability services.

Blanche Wiliams, Ph.D.
Blanche Williams received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Vanderbilt University. Having directed programs for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and combat, she specializes in helping people resolve traumatic memories and repetitive thoughts that interfere with happiness and self-confidence. She also enjoys working with a wide variety of problems, conducting psychological evaluations, and assisting those who seek psychological and spiritual growth. She employs a number of mind-body techniques to promote rapid and deep change. She is married to Phillip Hale, M.D., and has two stepsons. She enjoys music, literature, crafts, and travel.
Licensed Clinical Social Workers

Joan Fraifeld, L.C.S.W.
Joan Fraifeld is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years experience working with individuals, families, and couples. In addition to her clinical work with clients Joan has provided clinical supervision to practicing therapists. Joan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and a Master's of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. She has been a member of the Board of the Mental Health Association since 1997. Joan's areas of clinical interest include trauma and loss, aging and the elderly, couples/relationship issues, and sexuality.

Glenn N. Scarboro, L.C.S.W.
Glenn N. Scarboro, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), is a native of Danville, Virginia. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Scarboro has thirty years of experience in the mental health field including working with individuals, families and couples. He works with adolescents and family members. He has a special interest in working with men who suffer from depression and in mid to late life adjustment issues.

Joan Kahwajy-Anderson, M.Ed., L.P.C.
Joan Kahwajy-Anderson is a Master's prepared Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Masters degree from James Madison University. She has been doing therapy work for the past twenty years. Her experience includes therapy with children, college age students, and adults. Her experience includes treatment of anxiety, including stress management issues, depression, anger, alcohol, and drug related issues, marital issues and, more recently, post abortion grief.

Vivian E. Andrews, M.Ed., L.P.C.
Vivian Andrews, a native of Pittsylvania County, enjoys working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and children. She is experienced in addressing a variety of mental health issues, substance abuse problems, and is a Virginia certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. Ms. Andrews attended Mary Washington College and Averett College. She received her Master's Degree from Lynchburg College. Prior to entering private practice, she was employed as a social worker in child services, a probation and parole officer and as a family services provider. In addition, she has taught VASAP classes and has been an adjunct professor at Averett College.

Frank Wickers, Ed.D., L.P.C.
Dr. Frank Wickers, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, was born and grew up in the Tidewater area of Virginia. With a Doctorate from the University of Virginia, Dr. Wickers has extensive experience in the mental health field with a primary emphasis on children, families and educational concerns. He has worked in major medical centers, a college counseling center and a training school for the mentally retarded. He is active in church and community service groups.
